ok, all fixed now. Enjoy!
I’m going to try to blog more about this and why it is here and why I am choosing to share this later, but I’ve been sick this week and am still without a ton of energy or brain power. So here you go.

Scene Language #1.
Scene Language #2 is now available for your consumption!

It’s exciting to me that things are moving along. I can’t wait to tackle the thrilling conclusion in the third issue (although I’ll probably wait until after the Holidays to get started on that.) This issue is really fun and satisfying, I think. I read #1 and #2 back to back yesterday, and I think it’s a good read. The characters (even the minor ones) have all come alive so much more since the first time around, and it’s worth starting over to be able to do this the right way.
Oh, yes! Thank yous! I need to throw out a few special thanks to a few people who helped me out on this issue, specifically Jeanne, Nikki and Jordan who all provided me with information and photo references. Also, thanks to everyone who popped in to check out the process on ustream over the last couple weeks. It was a lot of fun and really helped me to finish up the book.
Here’s a six page preview of issue #2.

Wanna get one? It’s available here in my etsy store.
And, just like last time, I’m giving away 5 issues today on twitter!!
Here’s how to enter:
1. Follow me on twitter! You don’t have to follow me to win, but that way, you’ll know when I announce winners tomorrow!
2. Retweet the following tweet: RT @coreymarie SCENE LANGUAGE #2 is available NOW and I want one! http://tinyurl.com/yh823en (RT this for a chance to win a copy!) The link goes straight to this post, so people can check out the preview of the book themselves. (You can RT the whole thing, or just the bold part! Make sure you get the @coreymarie, or I won’t know that you entered.)
3. Tomorrow morning I will print out all of the twitterers and draw five out of a hat! Whoever I choose will get a free copy, which will be sent out this week.
I’m sorry I’ve been such a bad blogger, everyone! Be sure to check out my other blog at www.coreymarie.com to see what I’m up to these days.
I am hard at work on Scene Language Issue #2 right now. Pencils have been done for a week or so now. I’ve still got to spend some time tightening up a few loose panels here and there and inking the few last pages. I’m also working on a extra little something fun to go along with it. Both of those will be released within the next few weeks. I also need to do the cover.
I’ve also been working on the re-write for Issue #3, and have added a fun Isaac & Kate scene that I know you’re all going to love.
I was warming up in my sketchbook today and drew a whole page of Isaac just for you:
(Don’t forget: Scene Language #1 is back in stock & you can get it @ PAPERCUTS.)

Been writing most of the week, and yesterday I finished up the writing for issue #2, which means it’s time to start working on pages again. Here’s a pin up I drew last night of my little crew. I sure do love these kids.
Started penciling issue #2 today, and was able to get through the first six pages(!) while Jonah took an extra long nap. Woot!
Re-order of Scene Language #1 will be happening pretty soon here. There are just 2 issues left in my etsy store of the first printing, so get them while they last!!
As of this morning, Scene Language #1 is finally available!

Seriously, how excited am I about this. Scene Language was always intended to be a comic book (versus a web comic) but when I started the web comic back in the summer of ‘06, I didn’t think I had the chops yet to commit to a book, nor keep up. It may have taken me 3 more years, but this is the book that I always had in mind. Even if you read the original strip or bought the original book (and thank you for that, by the way!) you will definitely want to get in on this. 100% new artwork, as well as new dialogue and tweaks to the story. This is how Scene Language was meant to be read, and I couldn’t be more pleased and happy with the final product.
Here is a six page preview of the book.

This first first printing was a mere 25 copies. 20 are for sale right here in my etsy store. (A second printing will be available as soon as possible.)
The other 5 are up for grabs in a little twitter contest today. Here’s how you can win one!
