Half way there on the countdown!
Here’s some bonus art for you today:

So I wanted to talk for just a minute about the pre-orders and stuff. I’ve gotten a few concerned emails, and I just wanted to make sure everything is clear here. Book One is not coming out of the archives. At least not right now. My plan so far is to take Book One down when Book Three begins. This has been my plan from the beginning.
So why by the book when you can get the milk comics for free? Consider it a donation or a thanks, if you’ve enjoyed the comics so far and would like me to continue. I’ll be honest, I’m going to continue whether you buy it or not. I’ve got way too many stories to tell and Charlie, Isaac, Kate and Garrett have no intention of letting me sleep at night without coming up with new ones any time soon. But dropping $6.00 for the first book will tell me that you’ve enjoyed it AND give you a copy for your bookshelf. And you’ve probably tipped your pizza guy that much before. And all he did was bring you hot delicious cheese. (mmm.)
If you’d like to say thanks but don’t really want the book, shirt or button pack, you could always go check out the Young American Comics store. You can get the LSR Trade Paperback there, as well as a ton of other cool comics. I don’t really want to ask for donations, so if you want to send me money, I’m going to insist on sending you SOMETHING.
If you want to say thank you but don’t have cash to spare, I understand. (Like, really.) You could do other nice things to say thanks like, post on the forums, post a link to Scene Language in your lj or myspace, or just drop me an email and tell me you’ve enjoyed it. Each of those things would mean as much to me as a six dollar tip.
Some people also asked about why the items are preorder only right now. This is mostly so I know what sizes to order for Tshirts. If you’re planning to get a Tshirt, please order now! They will ship as soon as I have them in my hands. Otherwise, I’ll only have a bunch of mediums, and then everyone will get mad that I don’t have their size and it’ll just be headaches all around. We don’t want that.
So again, if you feel inclined, please go place a preorder. If you have other questions, don’t hesitate to ask me, and everyone have a good headache-free day! Tune in Friday for hot delicious cheese another really cool contest.
