Oh lord. The “I’m 18 now and can do what i want.” No, not really until you’re out of the house as i learned in battling my own oppression. Also, i am suspicious of this. If her parents don’t care, why did she have to lie? Trouble. trouble.

I’m sixteen, and I’ve ALWAYS thought it seemed stupid when people my age say, “When I get a job and a car, I’ll be able to (insert stupid thing here) and never have to go home.”
And I always want to hit them.
I’m REASONABLY sure that anything you “own” still belongs to your parents if you’re under 18. I don’t think you can have a car title in your name? But I’m really not sure.
Any money you make could be taken by your parents, and they won’t get in trouble for it. Because basically, they own you.
I think too much for my own good.
I love your comic though, Corey. =]

P.S. I could be wrong about all of the above…
