So I just found out I'm finally moving out of my parents' house! YAY! It's going to be such a relief to finally be out on my own and finally get to do whatever I want. I'm moving in with my friend Charlie (we've known eachother since middle school, lol) and two guy friends of hers, including the aforementioned rockstar. So I'm excited. ( Add Comment )
I had the craziest night the other night! I interviewed the B-sides (watch for the interview in The ECC Report and in the next issue of Constructive Cynicism), practically watched Uroborus break up, then saw Red Pop at the Underpass and came back just in time to catch the B-sides back at Mic's! Oh yeah, I also met a really cool rockstar who happened to be in from out of town... ( Add Comment )
Constructive Cynicism #16 is out! Catch me at school or work if you want a copy. ( Add Comment )

About me:
You can probably figure out everything you need to know about me by reading this page and my zines, lol. But here's a survey to tell you a little more, and if not, just ask! :D
Name: Katherine Margaret Monroe but call me Kate! :-)
Birthdate: May 27, 1985
Your Sign: I'm a Gemini, but I don't really believe in that stuff.
Are your parents together or divorced? Still happily married. Aww.
Have any siblings? I have one older sister, Jamie.
Do you work or go to school? I work part-time at Copy-Cats (campus location) and am getting my Communications Degree for Journalism.
Favorite Band: Too many to list! But probably Well Read Robot.
Favorite Food: French fries w/ ranch. :-D
Favorite Movie: High Fidelity is so good (but the book is better) I also like Donnie Darko and all of the Harry Potter movies (but the books are definitely better!)
Any Piercings/Tattoos? Just one in each ear.
Do you smoke? Nope.
Do you drink? I have a couple times. Shh!
Have you ever been drunk? Nope.
Have you ever shoplifted? Nope.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping? Nope.
Do you believe in God? Of course.
What do you like most in the opposite sex? I'm a sucker for a guy in a band, but who isn't?? I like a guy who is thoughtful and romantic. Blue eyes doesn't hurt either ;-)
Who's the last person that called your cell phone? Work called to see if I could cover a shift but I was busy.
Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes.
Do you believe in soul mates? I think so.
Have you ever been in love? Oh yeah.
What's the longest you've been in a relationship? I went out with a guy in High School for like, six months but he turned out to be a jerk.
What are your bad habits? I'm a bit of a perfectionist, lol.
Do you collect anything? My door is covered with tickets from shows (and a few fliers) I'm also acquiring a hefty zine library!
Do you want to get married and have kids? Yes, but I'm in NO HURRY.
What's the furthest place you've ever traveled? We went to Canada when I was a kid, but I don't remember it very well.
Happy Birthday. You aren't working this weekend so I had a party for you. By which I mean I ate a candy bar out of the vending machine in your honor. I'm bad at parties anyway.
I could probably get more done here if I wasn't on myspace all the time. But that would require doing more work.
Hey Kate! Thank you so much for coming out to the show last night and for the interview! Jake said everything went really well and I know you'll put something awesome in there. Can't wait to see it! We'll be in the studio for the next few weeks, but we should be playing some more shows soon! <3<3<3
your new zine is good event though i've never heard of any of those bands. i printed an extra copy for myself and read it during while i was supposed to be waiting on customers. just now. yes, i am posting from work. the night shift is boring when you're not working.
