Hey there stranger, and welcome to Scene Language!
Scene Language is a web comic by Corey Marie Parkhill. It updates five days a week (Monday – Friday). It is intended for readers who are 17+ for explicit language, alcohol & drug use and implied sexual situations. Scene Language is one part sit-com and one part soap opera; there’s an ongoing story, with jokes mixed in along the way.
Scene Language takes place in the fictional city of Elsing, Michigan, and follows the lives of four early 20-somethings and their city’s art and music scene. If you’d like to read more about the main characters of the strip, click here to meet the cast. SPOILER WARNING! Reading the cast page will reveal spoilers that take place in Books 1 and 2.
Scene Language is broken up by “books.” The printed versions (you know, on paper) of these books are available in the store, along with other items handmade by Corey Marie. Each book is broken up into several storylines. You can access these storylines through the archives section, or on the drop down storyline selector located at the top of the website. You can read the entire series online for free.
